John Abraham says he will never do a Telugu or regional film – “I am a Hindi film hero”

John Abraham known for his action-packed one-of-a-kind films is gearing up for his upcoming film Attack. He plays the role of a super-soldier which they claim is a unique story in the history of Hindi cinema.

During the promotions, John opened up about his next Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone and also a rumour of working in a Telugu movie.

With an interaction with India.com he was asked about the rumour surrounding him having a role in Prabhas starrer Salaa. John clarified by saying, “I will never do a regional film. I am a Hindi film hero. I will never do a film as a second lead just to be there. I am not going to do a Telugu or any regional film like other actors just to be in that business.”

Also adding about his shooting schedule of Pathaan, he said right after promoting his movie in Delhi will be done, he will fly out to Mumbai and then to Spain to join Shah Rukh and Deepika.

John also mentioned his film Attack to be ‘damn good’ saying if it wasn’t he wouldn’t be promoting it.

Directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, the movie also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez in main roles. The film will be released on April 1.
