Doctor Strange screenwriter Jon Spaihts is mind blown after seeing RRR. ‘What a ride,’ he says

Jon Spaihts, screenwriter of Doctor Strange, Dune and Passengers, recently watched SS Rajamouli’s RRR and was blown away by it. He took to social media to share his excitement. Jon revealed that it has been several days since he saw Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s RRR and he still couldn’t get it out of his head. RRR is a period drama written by Vijayendra Prasad.

DOCTOR STRANGE SCREENWRITER JON SPAIHTS REVIEWS RRR

Director SS Rajamouli’s RRR managed to get glowing reviews in India and also from many Hollywood stalwarts. The film, which hit the theatres in March, went on to gross over Rs 1100 crore worldwide.

Recently, Doctor Strange screenwriter John Spaihts took to Twitter to share his excitement after watching RRR. He wrote, “Holy hell, RRR. Has any movie ever packed more movie into a movie? What a ride. Still thinking about it a couple days later (sic).”

The official Instagram handle of RRR shared the tweet and wrote, “From the Screenwriter of Dune, Doctor Strange and Passengers!! Thank you so much!! #RRRMovie (sic).”

RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR, respectively. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody were seen in supporting roles. SS Rajamouli’s RRR was a commercially successful venture and also received critical acclaim.
