Lakshmi Lehr, Alia Bhatt’s stylist, posted a fresh photo of the star on Instagram on Thursday. Alia is seen in the snapshot posing at her home in a coordinated printed ensemble.
Despite the many praises she must have received for her appearance, her fans were more interested in another aspect of the photograph. Two framed photographs hang on the wall behind Alia. While one appears to be an unseen photograph of Alia and her boyfriend, actor Ranbir Kapoor, the other appears to be a more abstract piece of art.
Alia is dressed in a thick jacket, shorts, and knee-high boots as she receives a kiss on the head from Ranbir. Both of them are seated on the stairwell, and while Alia is looking at the camera, Ranbir is busy lavishing affection on her.
The photo was most likely taken during the couple’s New Year’s celebrations in Ranthambore National Park earlier this year. In one of her photos from the trip, Alia donned similar attire, which she also shared on social media. Her mother Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen Bhatt, and his family—mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Ridhima Kapoor Sahni, niece Samara, and brother-in-law Bharat Sahni—accompanied them on the journey.
For more than three years, Ranbir and Alia have been dating. They had intended to marry last year but decided to postpone it till the coronavirus situation improves.
In Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy film Brahmastra, they will be seen together for the first time on the big screen. Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna also star in the first instalment of the series. Apart from that, Ranbir has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal and Shamshera, which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
Alia is working on a number of projects at the moment. She has roles in Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, Darlings, Rocky, aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, as well as the recently announced Jee Le Zaraa, in which she will act with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
