Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has once again grabbed attention for his post on Elon Musk-owned Twitter. The director of The Kashmir Files has stirred controversy after announcing the re-release of his hit film.

Starring Anupam Kher as Pushkar Nath Pandit and Vivek Agnihotri’s wife Pallavi Joshi as Radhika Menon and Mithun Chakraborty among others, The Kashmir Files showcases the agony and sufferings of Kashmiri Hindus on the social media platform.

Announcing the re-release of his movie, Vivek tweeted, “#TheKashmirFiles is re-releasing on 19th January – The Kashmiri Hindu Genocide Day. This is the first time ever a film is releasing twice in a year. If you missed watching it on BIG SCREEN, book your tickets NOW👇.” Not just that, the re-release poster of the film also claims that The Kashmir Files is “people’s blockbuster.”

Many people took to Twitter to share their views on the re-release of Vivek Agnihotri’s hit film The Kashmir Files, which is going to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s new film ‘Pathaan.’

If The Kashmir Files re-releases on January 19, it will clash at the box office with SRK-Deepika Padukone’s film Pathaan, which is scheduled to hit theatre screens on January 25.

Pathaan has already courted massive controversy for Deepika Padukone’s ‘bhagwa’ outfit in the song Besharam Rang. Many have even called for a boycott of the film.
