Pat Cummins got the better of Zak Crawley after Rory Burns was dismissed run out for a duck. Earlier, Stuart Broad and Mark Wood took three wickets each as England bowled out Australia for a first innings total of 303. Australia had resumed play from their overnight score of 241 for 6. Travis Head scored a fine 101 while youngster Cameron Green departed after scoring 74. Chris Woakes and Ollie Robinson also bagged two wicket each.
