Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial The Kashmir Files is currently one of the most talked-about films. Not only, did the film surprised with its performance at the box office, but the sensitive topic it deals with has also been picked by several politicians and has also been spoken about in the parliament by Prime Minister Modi. Recently, Vivek took to his Facebook handle to share a throwback video from the sets of the film where he is seen giving the team a motivating speech.
Vivek revealed that they were shooting the film in extreme weather in Kashmir and it started taking a toll on the team. Sharing the video, Vivek wrote, “On the 3rd day of the shoot of #TheKashmirFiles, the unit started collapsing because of the freezing cold. I spoke to the unit for 2 minutes about our purpose for making TKF and the efficiency became 200% after that. Big clap for the young unit for their sacrifice & service.”
In the video, addressing his team, Vivek reminded them to think about the problems faced by the people who had to leave their homes in the month of January of 1990 when it was freezing in Kashmir. Thinking about their problems, he said that his own problems while shooting for the film vanished. “This is all about the attitude. Good films are made with a good attitude, bad films are made with a bad attitude,” he said.
“Ab bhul jao ki thand naam ki cheez hai aur hum swarg mai aaye hai. Mindblowing kaam hai. Hum apne jeevan ka sabse bada charity ka, social service ka kaam kar rahe hai.(You must forget about the cold winter and think that your in a heavenly place. It’s mind-blowing work. We are doing the biggest charity, social service of our life),” he is heard saying.
“Success does not come through hard work, success comes with sincere and dedicated work and through social service,” he further said.
