The first track of Salman Khan starrer Radhe-Your Most Wanted Bhai was released a week ago. The track titled ‘Seeti Maar’ is a Hindi remake of the Telugu song of the same name. The original version composed by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) was picturised on Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. The remake was also composed by DSP and featured Salman Khan and Disha Patani. In an exclusive conversation with DSP spoke about shooting the song and what people can expect in the unreleased portion of ‘Seeti Maar’.

Sharing his experience of watching Salman Khan and Disha Patani bring the song to life, DSP said, “Prabhu master had actually invited me to the shoot of ‘Seeti Maar’, so I was there at the shoot with bhai and Prabhu master and all. So we were all having a great time that day and I was really thrilled to watch the shoot of the song and Prabhu master and Jaani Master were creating all these beautiful movements and Disha was dancing. Disha is a terrific dancer and the way they were shooting the movements and then the style of bhai. That day when bhai was shooting the hoodie step, when he did that I was there when he was shooting that and I was like ‘Okay, now this is the step for this year’. I knew it was going to catch on like fire when I saw that.’

DSP also revealed that the video song that has been released is not the complete version. Talking about the unreleased portion, DSP said, “Actually the song is about four minutes and a few seconds. The video that was released is only three minutes and there is still 1 -1.5 minutes of the song people have not seen. That will be a part of the movie. Terrific BGM and dance moves by Disha and Salman bhai. I think that they may be keeping it as icing on the cake. I saw the whole song when we were mixing the song. I am still waiting for you to see that portion of the song.”

Anushka Sharma had a dream debut with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The film starred superstar Shah Rukh Khan and was made under the banner of Yash Raj Films. However, the actress has had her own share struggles and rejections before she landed Rab Ne Band Di Jodi.

Before making her big Bollywood debut, Anushka had auditioned for several films including Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots. Anushka had auditioned for the lead role which was eventually essayed by Kareena Kapoor. Now, years later a video clip of Anushka’s audition for the film has gone viral.

For the audition, Anushka delivered a monologue from the film Munnabhai MBBS also directed by Rajkumar Hirani. She is seen performing a monologue by Gracy Singh’s character in the film.

In another video, shot during the making of PK which was Anushka’s first film with Aamir and Rajkumar Hirani, she is seen showing the two her audition clip for 3 Idiots and captured their reaction. Take a look:

On the work front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in the film Zero that was released in 2018. She is currently busy with her home production Clean Slate Filmz and is yet to announce her next acting project.

Disha Patani will soon be seen as the leading lady in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai opposite Salman Khan. Having set the stage on fire with her dance moves and sizzling chemistry with Salman Khan previously in the song ‘Slow Motion’ from Bharat, she has now reunited with the superstar for Radhe.

Talking about working with Salman, Disha said, “He’s a great human being and always makes everyone comfortable. He’s so inspiring and I’m very grateful that I got the opportunity to work with such a superstar of the country once again.”

With her song ‘Seeti Maar’ doing well, Disha expressed, “It was pretty difficult prepping for the song because it was the first time I was working with Prabhudeva sir (also the director of Radhe). But he was very patient with me. It was a different choreography but it was so much fun.”

Actress Janhvi Kapoor recently was featured as a cover star for Travel and Leisure magazine. For the shoot, the actress especially went to Maldives. Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP movies’ recently announced project will see actress Rakul Preet Singh essay the role of a condom tester. A social family entertainer, it is a yet-to-be-titled project which will have the actress play the character of a condom tester.

Spilling the beans on how Rakul came onboard, director Tejas Deoskar shares, “Our film is a social family entertainer, which aims at destigmatizing the use of condoms and for this one, I always believed Rakul was the best suited for Character. She brings freshness to every role that she portrays and with a sensitive, thought-provoking subject like this, she was our first choice.”

He further adds, “Even interestingly, Rakul was thrilled when she was approached for the film. She heard the narration and immediately agreed to do it.”

The shooting of the film will begin sometime in the coming months once the situation normalises.

A condom tester is a “Quality Control executive” hired by condom brands to test the quality of their products before they are released to the market. The film will be a quirky drama and another fresh concept by the production house that has earlier brought path-breaking projects.

Singer Payal Dev debuted as a composer in the song ‘Dil Jaaniye’ for the film Khandaani Shafakhana. Her fame shot to another milestone with ‘Genda Phool’, a 2020 Hindi pop song featuring Badshah. Now, in an exclusive interview with Divya talked about her song ‘Dil De Diya​’ from Salman Khan’s Radhe​. – Your Most Wanted Bhai. She spoke about how she got to sing this song and how Himesh Reshammiya worked on it.

When asked how the entire process was, she replied, “I have worked with Himesh Ji previously in Happy Hardy and Heer. I have sung ‘Keh Rahi Hain Nazdeekiyan’ in the film and I have also dubbed various songs various songs previously. He was very familiar and well-versed with my voice texture. When Himesh Bhai composed this song, he felt and said to me that you can sing this song very well, so I want to try it in your voice. So, it was my pleasure to work with him. Well, who doesn’t sing and work for Himesh Reshammiya? He is a blockbuster hit composer.”

When asked how Salman Khan reacted to her song, she revealed, “When I recorded the song, Himesh Bhai really liked it very much and appreciated me a lot. He said that it was locked from his side and he will be presenting it to Salman Bhai tomorrow and I hope he likes it too. For Salman Bhai, I was a little afraid as ‘Yu Karke’ was a different song which was there in Dabangg 3 which I have sung for Sajid-Wajid. Even the songs which I have sung previously had the different texture of mine in them, which Salman Bhai never heard. But he loved the voice; Himesh Bhai told me that he absolutely loved it.”

She added, “Firstly, he didn’t recognise and questioned that who sung it? Then, Himesh Bhai told him that it was Payal. He was astonished that I was sounding very different. Then this song happened and shoot happened and I loved the entire process.”

Alongside Salman Khan, Radhe also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The movie is presented by Salman Khan Films in association with ZEE Studios, produced By Salma Khan, Sohail Khan and Reel Life Production Pvt. limited.

With India fighting the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, many celebrities and influencers are trying to help out people by doing their bit. Amid this, retired IAS officer criticised Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar for not doing more than just making appeals for donation. Twinkle Khanna responded to the criticism levelled against her and her husband.

Responding to Twinkle Khanna’s tweet seeking donations, former officer Surya Pratap Singh commented, “Twinkle ji, your husband is among the richest artistes in this country. Rather than pretending to help by collecting donations, it would have been better had your family shown a little more kindness.”

Responding to the comment, Twinkle pointed out that they have been doing their bit in helping the people in need. “Have donated 100 concentrators toward this cause&in multiple other ways.As I’ve said before, it’s not about me or you but what we can do collectively for those in need.Sad that at this point, instead of pitching in, we expend energy in pulling people down. Stay safe,” she wrote.

Twinkle Khanna had earlier written about securing 100 oxygen concentrators and donating it to an organisation. “Wonderful news-Dr Drashnika Patel & Dr Govind Bankani of London Elite Health through Daivik Foundation are donating120 oxygen concentrators and as @akshaykumar and I have managed to get our hands on 100 as well,we have a total of 220.Thank you for the leads. Let’s all do our bit,” Twinkle had posted on her social media.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar recently donated Rs. 1 crore to Gautam Gambhir Foundation. Former cricketer Gautam Gambhir is an MP representing East Delhi constituency.

Akshay Kumar has multiple films in the pipeline, each at different stages of production. The actor had resumed shooting as soon as lockdown restrictions were eased down last year. He started the new year with the shoot Sajid Nadiadwala’s Bachchan Pandey in which he plays a gangster.

The actor has hosted multiple seasons and adhered to all the protocols during the shoot of season 12 since the COVID-19 outbreak. Despite having tested positive for COVID-19, Amitabh Bachchan was back on the sets as soon as he recovered and now, the actor is all set to return with season 13 of the show.

Sony TV’s official social media handle posted a video where Amitabh Bachchan walks in with all his swagger and announces that the registrations for the show begin on May 10. The actor looks as dapper as ever in a three-piece suit.
