The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 results are expected to be declared soon. On May 12, the CBSE Class 10 board result for 2023 was declared. This year, the CBSE Class 10 pass percentage stood at 93.12 percent, an improvement from the 91.10 pass percentage recorded in 2019, the last pre-Covid board exam. In alignment with the board’s earlier decision to discourage unhealthy competition, CBSE did not declare any merit list or award first/second/third division to its students who cleared the CBSE 10th result 2023.

Instead, a merit certificate was issued to the top 0.1A percent of students who scored the highest marks in the subjects. Reflecting the trend of an increasing number of students achieving high scores each year, 1,95,799 students received above-90percent scores. Similarly, 44,297 students across India scored above 95A percent marks.
