Ganesh Puja is preferred during Madhyahna Kala, which is equivalent to midday according to Hindu division of the day. Madhyahna Ganesha Puja Muhurat is 11:03 AM to 01:34 PM. The Chaturthi Tithi will begin from 03:01 PM on Sep 06, 2024.
According to the Panchang, the auspicious time for the Ganpati Sthapna on September 7 will be from 11:03 AM to 1:34 PM.
Additionally, Abhijit Muhurat will be from 11:54 AM to 12:44 PM. Furthermore, Vijay Muhurat will occur from 2:24 PM to 3:14 PM. Meanwhile, Sarvath Siddhi Yog will be from 12:34 PM to the next day at 6:03 AM.
Ganesh Chaturthi significance
According to religious texts, Lord Ganesha was born on the fourth day of the Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the moon) in the month of Bhadrapada. Therefore, on this day, Lord Ganesha is welcomed with great celebrations.
Also, during this period, Lord Ganesha is worshipped with rituals and devotion for ten days, after which he is bid farewell.
