According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are exploring the idea of replacing Priyanka Chopra in the film titled Jee Lee Zara as she’s about to become a mother and there’s no truth in it.
A well-placed source in the film industry told Bollywood Life that the thought of replacing PeeCee has not crossed anybody’s mind from the makers of the film. Adding more details, firstly, with Priyanka Chopra opting for surrogacy she obviously won’t be facing the same pregnancy concerns as one would expect. Also, Farhan and Ritesh are too progressive to think that motherhood could come in the way of Priyanka or any working woman pursuing her career for that matter. The source added that Priyanka is an asset for the film if anything and the makers are well aware of that.
Earlier, PeeCee stated that she had wanted to do a Hindi movie after The Sky is Pink. As we know, on Saturday, Priyanka and Nick Jonas shared the news in their Instagram posts.
Meanwhile, Farhan and Zoya Akhtar were working on an all-female road trip film, and things fell n place. Jee Lee Zara also stars Ali Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in the key roles.
