Apart from being a stellar performer, actress Kangana Ranaut is also known to court controversies with her unfiltered opinions on several topics. Recently, actor-tuned-politician Manoj Tiwari said that Kangana should maintain respect while criticising someone.
In an interview with content creator Samdish Bhatia, when asked how he likes Kangana, Manoj Tiwari said he would rather not say anything about her. Further, when asked if he is scared of her, he said, “I feel you should not keep your opinions so blasting that it …she directly hits with them.”
“I understood when she spoke after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, and I guess, the Maharashtra state government was also slightly harsh on her. That, too, wasn’t right. But you should stay courteous. You must put forth your views, but it is not in our country’s culture to name someone with disrespect. Everyone should respect a person who holds the post of the chief minister. People also say such things about our Prime Minister and I want to tell them that one must respect those who hold major positions in our country. Criticise by all means, but with respect. Maryadit bhasha honi chahiye, aur Kangana kabhi kabhi bhasha me maryada kho jaati hai (Kangana often loses that respect),” he added. After Sushant’s demise in 2020, Kangana had targeted Maharashtra CM in her statements.
Meanwhile, at the press conference of her upcoming reality show Lock Upp, Kangana got into an argument with a journalist. A female journalist asked the actress to comment on the recent row where an influencer made an insulting comment about Deepika Padukone’s choice of clothes while promoting her upcoming film Gehraiyaan. To which Kangana Ranaut said, “Look, I am here to defend those who can’t defend themselves. She (Deepika Padukone) can defend herself. She has the privilege and the platform, and I can’t promote her film here. Sit down.”
