Bloody Ishq
The horror thriller is directed by Vikram Bhatt and written by Mahesh Bhatt. The film stars Avika Gor and Vardhan Puri in the lead roles. The movie revolves around Avika’s character Neha, who suffered from amnesia after an accident. A secluded Scottish island becomes Neha’s refuge after a memory loss. With her husband hiding a scary truth, how will she live in a house of lies? The movie is set to premiere on July 26 on Disney Plus Hotstar.
Mr and Mrs Mahi
The movie revolves around a married couple Mahendra and Mahima (Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor), who share a love for cricket. Mahendra, a failed cricketer, discovers cricketing talent in his wife when he sees her smashing tennis ball sixes and encourages her to chase her dream of becoming a cricketer. Buoyed by the encouragement she receives from her husband, Mrs. Mahi, a practising doctor eventually gives up her career as a doctor; and takes a strike on her cricketing journey. However, he starts resenting her when she starts to shine. The movie will release on Netflix on July 26.
Bhaiyya Ji
It is an action-packed movie starring Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role. It follows the respected and feared Ram Charan aka Bhaiyya Ji, who finds his way back to violence to avenge the murder of his younger stepbrother. Will the ex-crime lord teach a lesson to the culprits? The movie is set to premiere on ZEE5 On July 26.
Which Brings Me to You
Starring Lucy Hale and Nat Wolff in the lead roles, the movie is an adaptation by Keith Bunin of Steve Almond and Julianna Baggott’s novel of the same name. It is about two romantic burnouts who meet at a wedding and almost hook up in the coatroom before putting the brakes on. They agree to exchange candid confessions about their pasts on the off chance that this might be the real thing. It will stream on JioCinema on July 26.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
It supernatural comedy film directed by Gil Kenan. It is the sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021), the fourth mainline instalment, and the fifth film overall in the Ghostbusters franchise. Starring Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon and Finn Wolfhard, the upcoming movie will start three years after the events in Ghostbusters: Afterlife when the discovery of an ancient artefact unleashes an evil force. Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second ice age. It will premiere on July 26 on Netflix.
Wonderland
When artificial intelligence enables the grieving to talk to the lost, a flight attendant and a mother grapple with the meaning of reality and humanity. Directed by Kim Tae Yong and featuring a collaboration of top actors from the region such as Tang Wei, Suzy, Park Bo Gum, Jung Yu-mi and Choi Woo Shik, Wonderland takes viewers into a simulated universe where people can reunite with their departed loved ones using the “Wonderland” video call service. It will premiere on Netflix on July 26.
