Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, two years ago. The actor was battling leukemia. Ahead of his second death anniversary, Neetu Kapoor remembered her late husband and was seen in emotional state. In a forthcoming episode of Dance Deewane Juniors, the show’s judge, Neetu, will be seen in tears as she remembered her late husband.
A contestant’s grandmother shared her family’s bond with Rishi Kapoor in a clip from an upcoming episode of Dance Deewane Juniors. “My husband met Rishi ji in 1974 and he was always talking about him,” she says. Rishi ji has always been a staunch supporter of my husband, and I’d like to dedicate a few lines to him.” As she performed on popular song ‘Lambi Judaai’, Neetu became overwhelmed and choked up.
Soon after, Neetu returned to her seat and described how so many people have told her stories about Rishi that she has always felt connected to him. “Rishi ji is not here,” she said, “but I meet someone every day who reminds me of him. Everyone has a story to tell. He is still tied to me in some way, someplace.”
