The Indian women’s hockey team faced a loss for the bronze medal win on August 6. The team played against Great Britain but lost the match. But, Indians cheered for the team for their exemplary performance and hardwork throughout the Tokyo Olympics. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was heartbroken after the loss but lauded the team for their effort.
On Friday morning, SRK shared on Twitter, “Heartbreak!!! But all reasons to hold our heads high. Well played Indian Women’s Hockey Team. You all inspired everyone in India. That itself is a victory..”
Shah Rukh Khan played the role of coach Kabir Khan loosely inspired by hockey player Mir Ranjan Negi in 2007 hit Chak De! India. He trains a group of women hockey players.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is busy with the shoot of Pathan in Mumbai.
