Ganpati festival is celebrated with great pomp in Maharashtra. In Mumbai, many celebrities from the film and TV world bring Ganpati Bappa to their homes every year and perform puja. Big pandals are set up at many places in Mumbai and huge crowds of people are seen there. TV actress Simran Budhrup recently reached Lalbaugcha Raja pandal with her mother, where she had to face a lot of trouble.
Visiting Bappa at Lalbaug Cha Raja was a disappointing experience
Simran Budhrup shared a post on her Instagram handle and told about her bad experience at the pandal. She wrote that visiting Bappa at the pandal was a disappointing experience. I went to Lalbaug Cha Raja with my mother to seek blessings, but the behavior of the staff spoiled things.
Simran said that a bouncer snatched the phone from my mother
When my mother tried to take her phone back, she was pushed. After this, when I jumped into the matter, the women bouncers misbehaved with me too. Then when I started recording their act, they tried to snatch my phone too. Simran further wrote that when those people came to know that she is an actress, then they backed off.
I know it is difficult to control the crowd
Simran, who made her mark with the TV show Pandya Store, wrote that people come to such places with good intentions. In return we had to face aggression and disrespect. I know it is difficult to control the crowd, but it is the responsibility of the staff to maintain the order without misbehaving or harming the devotees.
