Ranveer Singh had recently heard the script of the Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham Again.
Last month, the title of Rohit Shetty’s third film in the Singham series was announced in the form of Singham Again. Needless to say, the movie will see Ajay Devgn reprise his iconic character of the cop Bajirao Singham.
The actor has just given an update of him going through the narration of Singham Again for the first time. He shared a picture of himself and Shetty from what looks like the end of the narration session. He captioned the post, “Made a good start to the New Year with @itsrohitshetty ‘s narration of Singham Again. The script I heard is (fire emoji). God willing this will be our 11th blockbuster.”
Shetty commented a dialogue from the film on the post. He said, “Ab tak Imaandaari aur Mehnat ke saath kaam kiya hai… is baar andar Aag bhi hai…”
In the previous two films – Singham and Singham Returns – the protagonist, played by Devgn, fought against local gangsters. But it seems the stakes will be high in Singham Again as he would be fighting cross-border terrorists this time around. Devgn’s character had given an indication of this in Shetty’s last cop movie Sooryavanshi where he vowed to finish off those who have plotted against India.
Last month, Shetty had said that when Ranveer Singh heard the script of Singham Again, he was super impressed.
Singham is one character from Shetty’s cop universe with the other two being Simmba and Sooryavanshi. Like the movie Sooryavanshi, the protagonists from the other two cop films are also expected to make an appearance in Singham Again.
