Monday marks the legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan’s 79th birthday. While Amitabh himself posted a picture on his birthday, various Bollywood celebrities are dropping their wishes one by one.
Ajay Devgn took to his official Instagram account to wish Big B a happy birthday by a sharing a picture of himself with the star. The caption of the post read, “Sir, looking at you through a different lens taught me what being a true artiste is. Happy Birthday dear Amitji @amitabhbachchan”
Earlier, Bhumi Pednekar wished Amitabh Bachchan with, “swag. Happy birthday sir,” in the comment section of the birthday post shared by the actor where Big B mistakenly captioned his age wrong.
Ajay and Amitabh shared screens for hit movies like Major Sahab and Khakee. The recent collab of the two was seen as the director-actor duo when Ajay directed the movie Mayday with Amitabh as the cast.
On the work front, Devgn has a packed slate of films like Maidaan, which features him as the legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim and Indra Kumar-directed slice-of-life comedy Thank God. He will also appear in SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi, which reunites him with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali 22 years after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
