The Actress seemed to be disgusted by the same.
She roared her voice over the practiced prejudiced and unjustified Twitter post , Divyanka Tripathi along with sharing the post, she responded, “No bindi no business? It should be a woman’s choice what she wants to wear! Hinduism is about respecting choices! Next you’ll want purda-system & then Satipratha back? Why should any culture be measured by women’s dressing? I’m further shocked when women propagate such concepts!”.
As tweeted by a user claiming that, she is not going to buy anything from the brands that shows the models without a bindi, ending her tweet with a hashtag stating no bindi no business. Divyanka felt nauseated knowing that such a tweet came from a women herself.
After her tweet, fans brimmed the comment section with support and power saying such notions cannot be promoted in 2021. Talking about our culture one fan mentioned, wearing traditional or ethnic wear does not bring you Hinduism but liberated minds and thoughts would make you a human.
In a recent tweet she said, “its high time now, start leaving women out of any religious fashion”.
She also claimed that now she will wear a green dress on Diwali and will definitely flaunt herself in the pictures over the social media. Divanka he also shared that she herself shot a commercial without a bindi. The brand has nothing to do with the it.
