Ranveer Singh currently stars in 83 which released on December 24, 2021. The actor plays the role of Kapil Dev in the underdog story of 1983 World Cup. As the film has earned Rs. 66.66 crore at the domestic box office, it has receive rave reviews for its story and performances.
Recently, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ranveer Singh talked about his experience working with director Kabir Khan. When asked about the filmmaker and what it was like working with him, he said, “He is a good man. The goodness in him shows in his storytelling. It takes a real mastery of filmmaking to re-create euphoria 30 years later.”
Ranveer further said, “Kabir’s warmth is visible in his storytelling, be it Bajrangi Bhaijaan or any movie he does. His cinematic language is very inclusive. His film is for everyone and can be seen by a wide spectrum of audiences.”
On the work front, Ranveer Singh has several movies in the pipeline, including Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which is directed by Karan Johar and features Alia Bhat, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi in the lead. The film is slated to release in 2023. He will also star in Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus next.
