John Abraham was last seen in the film Attack-Part 1. Along with starring and producing the film, John also received story credit for the film. The out-and-out action entertainer, which introduces India’s first super-soldier, opened to mixed reviews. However, the box office numbers failed to reach expectations. Recently, in an interview, he was quizzed about the failure of his previous film Satyameva Jayate 2. The film is the sequel to John’s 2018 release Satyameva Jayate. Both the films were heavily criticized by the audience.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, John said he tackled full responsibility for the failure and emphasized that it did hurt him. “It wasn’t Milap’s fault. He as a director bought a concept to me. Nikhil Advani as the producer, Milap, and me as an actor all signed in for this concept. It can’t be the mistake of one person. I take full responsibility for it”. The actor also said that one cannot always learn from their failure and give their best shot the next time. He also said that one cannot lose faith in someone just because of failure.

Meanwhile, John will next be seen in the film Ek Villain Returns alongside Tara Sutaria, Disha Patani, and Arjun Kapoor. He will also be seen in Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
