Television actor Kishwer Merchant, who will soon welcome her first child this August, recently had her baby shower. The actress shared glimpses of the celebration on her Instagram on Friday. The ceremony was an intimate affair with only the presence of their family members and close friends.
The ceremony had some beautiful decorations with pink, white and golden balloons. The banner placed under the balloons reads ‘Kishwer’s Baby Shower’ and the hashtag used for the event is #SuKishKaBaby. The ceremony also had a mini train made up of teddy bear and balloons.
For the ceremony, Kishwer opted for two outfits. She wore a shiny pastel pink sharara while her husband Suyyash opted for a simple sky blue coloured kurta pajama for the event. For the second round of the ceremony, Kishwer wore a lilac gown and accessorised it with floral jewellery. She looked absolutely stunning in both her looks. The 40-year-old actress complemented her look with her traditional marriage bangles.
Kishwer Merchant even got herself made a customised mehendi design on her palm that had a woman cradling her baby bump and the words ‘mom-to-be and ‘baby shower’ written. Apart from that, the actress also shared pictures with her mother-in-law and her other friends. Truly, the glow in their faces shows how excited the couple is to welcome their little bundle of joy.
