Bollywood actor Salman Khan attended RRR pre-release event on Sunday to support SS Rajamouli’s upcoming directorial. The film stars Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn and is set to release on January 7, 2022.
Speaking at the event, Salman Khan said, “SS Rajamouli is the best director we have in our country. There is 50% occupancy in Maharashtra, and I hope this one gets 100% occupancy because RRR deserves this sort of release.”
He also praised Ram Charan and Jr. NTR and said that he had known them even before they became actors. “Charan and NTR. I have known them much before they became movie stars. They have worked really hard on RRR, look at their physique.” Finally, he urged his fans to support the movie saying, “I request all my fans to watch RRR on the big screen.”
Directed by S.S Rajamouli, the movie includes a star-studded lineup besides lead actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris will be seen in pivotal roles while Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody join in as supporting roles.
Jayantilal Gada (PEN) has bagged the theatrical distribution rights across North India and has also bought worldwide electronic rights for all languages. Pen Marudhar will be distributing the film in the North Territory.
The Telugu-language period action drama film is produced by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments. ‘RRR’ is releasing on 7th January 2022.
