Virat Kohli gifted his Test shirt to Brett Lee’s son, Preston, following a Test match in India. Preston has still preserved Kohli’s shirt.

Former Australia fast bowler Brett Lee has shared an anecdote involving ex-India captain Virat Kohli and his son Preston Lee.
Brett revealed one special moment that he said would stay with him forever. The Australian said, while commentating on the field during a Test match in India, he had told Kohli that he was the favourite cricketer of Preston. Upon finding out that, Kohli presented Brett with his Test shirt for Preston.
“One special moment that will stay with me forever was when India were playing a Test match in India. I was commentating on the field and I saw Kohli out in the middle. We were talking, laughing and sharing moments about the times we have played against each other,” Brett said in a video shared on his YouTube channel.
“I said ‘my son Preston thinks you are the best thing in slice, already loves you and you’re his favourite player’. He was like, really? I said, yeah he loves your cover drive. After the Test match finished, I was presented with a Test shirt: VK captain and Kohli had signed an address to Preston. To this day, the shirt hangs up in his room.”
Kohli has been struggling with a lean patch for quite some time. He scored only 31 runs across two innings during the Birmingham Test, which England won by seven wickets.
The former India captain managed to score only 1 and 11 in two T20Is he played against the Three Lions. Kohli missed the first ODI against England, which India won by 10 wickets, as he had a mild groin strain.
